Judith Schossböck — Wilderness

I’ve always found it very easy to express my feel­ings if I thought of ani­mals, or of myself as an ani­mal. The impact on my body and soul is hence relat­ed to all sorts of crea­tures, but not always real­is­tic pro­por­tions or imag­i­nar­ies of the human body. Maybe ani­mals just offer a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to express the wild or inex­press­ible, and the emo­tions the human race often tends to sup­press. In any case, even though I don’t like the say­ing ani­mals are the bet­ter humans, they are one of my favourite com­mu­ni­ca­tors to express myself from the thick­et of severe illness.
